ABOUT KMPC

Now a no-brainer to offer pickleball programs, paint lines on tennis courts, and even construct dedicated courts in communities. However, in the early days of Wisconsin pickleball, not many could envision the future of pickleball except for a handful of die-hard pickleball players from southeastern Wisconsin.

Nudging would be needed for others to see their vision and to do this, they knew they needed to band together and nudge in numbers… thus, the Kettle Moraine Pickleball Club was born.

Originally formed to grow and promote competitive pickleball within the southeastern Wisconsin areas – that now has happened, and thankfully, our nudging days are behind us. Today we are now mainly a social club made up of pickleball enthusiasts.

KMPC organizes weekly play-dates for its members at no cost to them during the outdoor season, as well as other events throughout the year.  The annual membership fee is $25. Non-members are always welcome on Tuesdays for a $3 drop-in fee. No one likes 11-0 games – therefore, we do ask that all drop-in players have a 4.0+ skill level to keep games as competitive as possible. Bring a chair and your favorite beverage.

Membership Includes:

  • Outdoor Season: Weekly Organized Play On Tuesdays, Late Afternoon-Evenings @ Allenton Pickleball Courts
  • Indoor Season: Sporadic Organized Events
  • Club T-Shirt
  • Discounted Club Hosted Tournaments and Events
  • Paddle & Gear Discount From Wisconsin’s Pickleball Paddle Manufacturer – PROLITE SPORTS

The majority of KMPC members have a skill level of 4.0 and higher. So that play is competitive for all members, we request that all new members and drop-in guests play at a 4.0+ skill level.

4.0+ Players Consistently play using these skills.

Consistent deep serve 0–3 feet to the left, center, and right of the baseline.

Consistent deep return 0–3 feet at various spots from the baseline.

Consistent low 3rd shot drop that removes your opponent’s ability to return with a volley.  Forcing your opponent to wait for a low bounce before returning is optimal, thus giving you and your partner the ability to safely advance to the kitchen line.

Consistent low reset shots while advancing from the baseline to the kitchen line.  Often this can take several attempts as you advance your position.

Consistent point-appropriate court position.

Consistent soft dinking game that combines patient volleys and bounced exchanges.
